Turkey Sausage

Prep time:  15 minutes
Prep notes: 
I like kosher ground turkey. I buy Empire brand; it’s pastured and has a nice, moist texture. It doesn’t dry out or get rubbery.
Cooking time:  15 minutes
Yields:  6 people
Ingredients: 

1 lb ground turkey
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp fennel seed
1 1/2 tbs maple syrup

Directions: 

Mix all ingredients together; shape into patties; fry till cooked thoroughly. Reheat patties with a little water in the pan so they won’t dry out.

Notes: 

This recipe freezes well, so it’s good to double for a grab and go high protein breakfast.
