Squash and Apple Bake
This recipe is a wonderfully warm, winter dish that will accompany any meat beautifully. The warm spiciness makes it a perfect comfort food, and could almost be served as dessert.
1 Butternut Squash, cut into bite-sized chunks
1 Granny Smith Apple, cut into bite-sized chunks
2 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Sprinkle of Nutmeg
Grease a glass loaf pan with coconut oil. Add squash and apple to pan; sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes until tender and bubbly.
