1/2 C Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/3 C Organic Balsamic Vinegar
1 1/2 Tbs Country Dijon Mustard
1 – 2 Tbs Assorted Dried Herbs – I use Basil, Thyme, Parsley, Ground Garlic Pepper, Black Pepper, and Red Pepper Flakes
Pour together into a cruet or bottle with a wide mouth. Shake well.
This dressing is so versatile. I love it on everything. It’s wonderful on salad, cheese steaks, avocado tomato salad, in stir fry – anywhere you want a little dash of extra flavor. It also make a great seasoning for cold quinoa. Add a little chopped walnuts and dried cranberry with a splash of this dressing and you’ve got a quick, easy cold salad that goes with everything! Give it a try.
Another plus is that this dressing is actually good for you…healthy fats, no MSG or vegetable oils (or soybean oil), actual spices and herbs-not just flavorings, and no preservatives!
